Earning Minors & Dual Degrees
If you are completing a minor, be sure to review your Degree Audit. If the minor is not appearing as complete on the audit, you will need to submit a Minor Program Form with your graduation application.
If you have any questions about the minor requirements or selecting courses for the minor, you should contact an advisor in the program offering the minor. If you need to declare a minor or discuss how you can complete the requirements alongside your major, you should meet with your academic advisor.
If you are earning dual degrees and are completing a degree from a college other than Engineering, you will need to file a separate application to graduate with each college. Be sure to indicate on your applications which college you would like to march with during Commencement, and wear the tassel for that college.
If you are earning a second major from another college on your Engineering degree, you will need to work with an academic advisor in the second major to ensure that you are meeting requirements and that your Degree Audit is complete for the second major. In the Commencement ceremony, you will march with and wear the tassel for the College of Engineering.
