My Academic Path

I first decided on engineering through my general interests. I had an interest in making physical objects and an interest in biology. My interests narrowed the engineering list down to about half of the majors. I talked to my peers in engineering about their majors, and with mentors and adults I know who are engineers as well. Being in classes that showcased the basis of the different major distinctions helped me figure out what I liked and what I did not. I like where I am in Biomedical Engineering because within my major there are different paths I can go down for my interests.
