My Academic Path

Originally, I planned on pursuing a major in Biology and a minor in Mathematics. Near the end of my first semester, I decided to switch my major to Mathematics or to engineering. This was a tough decision and it took me a while to finally decide. During this process, I used a lot of online resources from each department and consulted with many older friends from my extracurricular involvement as well as advisors from all my perspective majors. I ultimately decided I was going to pursue a major in BME or CBE as both included my passions of problem solving, math, and natural sciences all while overlapping with my pre-med plan. Currently, I am set in my major and am very happy with my decision to pursue a degree in engineering.
